Painted MDF is generally used for visible doors, panels and decorative details. It can be painted in virtually any colour and is particularly suitable for Shaker-style and other bespoke designs.

Laminate is a factory-finished board available in a wide range of colours, wood effects and textures. It is durable, easy to clean and particularly well suited to cabinet and wardrobe interiors.

Many of our projects combine the two — painted MDF on the exterior with laminate interiors.

Both options provide a high-quality finish.

Spray painting produces the smoothest and most uniform surface, with virtually no visible brush or roller texture, giving the furniture a very clean factory-like finish.

Hand painting has a subtle hand-finished texture when viewed closely and is generally more cost-effective. It is also easier to touch up in the future if the furniture becomes marked or damaged.

Both finishes can be matched to virtually any colour.

We normally start with an initial discussion and approximate quotation based on your requirements. If you would like to proceed, we arrange a site visit to discuss the project and take measurements.

Once the deposit is paid, detailed drawings are prepared for your approval. Final measurements are then confirmed before materials are ordered and the furniture is manufactured and installed.

Lead times vary depending on the size of the project, materials and our current workload. Typically, manufacture and installation take around 5–6 weeks once the final design and measurements have been approved.

The drawings can be reviewed and adjusted before the final design is approved.

Absolutely. You can send us sketches, photographs, Pinterest images, interior designer drawings or examples of furniture you like.

We can then adapt the ideas to suit your room, dimensions, storage requirements and preferred materials.

A 50% deposit is normally required before we begin the detailed drawings and manufacturing process.

Yes. We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and will address any issues caused by manufacturing or installation faults.
